The Fédérations des Ligues des Droits des Femmes represented the Alliance féministe maghrébine [INSAF (Morocco) and d’Amal pour la Famille et l’Enfant (Tunisia)] à the CSW69.
They put forward three major demands: comprehensive care for women survivors of violence, legal recognition of the status of step-mothers, and an end to discrimination in inheritance laws

À l'occasion de la 69e session de la Commission de la condition de la femme (CSW69), la Fédération des Ligues des Droits des Femmes, a partner of BATIK International, fièrement représenté l'Alliance féministe, composée également de l'INSAF (Morocco) and d'Amal pour la Famille et l'Enfant in Tunisia.

? According to the World Bank, 40% of women in the MENA region have experienced physical or sexual domestic violence in their lifetime, a rate of prevalence that ranks the region second in the world. These figures are shocking and unacceptable!
