Business start-up projects

BATIK International trains and supports people wishing to set up income-generating activities. There are numerous income-generating activity opportunities, which are synonymous with social inclusion, in the countries in which BATIK International works (Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt, Lebanon and Vietnam). BATIK International helps to promote the development of the local economy by supporting and encouraging business start-ups. BATIK International also provides support for migrant project developers on some projects in France helping those who wish to start up a business in their homes countries or work with their home countries from France. BATIK International designs the support schemes needed by these economic or non-profit sector project developers.

As part of this work area, BATIK International has been a member of the GAME network since 2006 (micro-entreprise support group) run by PMIE (migration and economic initiatives programme) launched by the pS-EAU organisation.
